- General Terms and Conditions 2021 §21.1: "Maintenance is part of the subscription to the software. This means that TOPdesk will provide the Customer with the latest version of the software during the term of the agreement."
- Commercial rules
- Same right of use as SaaS (§19). Maintenance and repair are included in the subscription (§21.1, §22.1); the customer may stay on an older version, but repair of defects does not apply to older On Premises versions (§21.2). The customer is responsible for back-ups (§23.4). The software is delivered as the TOPdesk Virtual Appliance; licence files are placed in the appliance's shared folder and activated through the TOPdesk Activation Server.
