Learning Resources

The learning resources are courses, handbook chapters, guides, templates and reference lists from the LICENSEWARE Notion wiki’s “Educational content and resources” section. They are teaching material, not encyclopedia articles. Most of them do not cite sources, and some statements about specific vendors are simplified or out of date. Each page says what it is at the top. For cited facts, use the encyclopedia articles, the glossary and the catalog.

Training courses

• Software asset management training course: a nine-module SAM course outline covering frameworks, the software life cycle, license compliance, tooling, governance, KPIs, maturity and common pitfalls, with exercises.
• Hardware asset management training course: a ten-module HAM course outline covering the hardware life cycle, policy, inventory, procurement, maintenance, security, disposal and reporting.

SAM Training: licensing fundamentals

ITAM Handbook
