- GTC s.1.1: "Unless otherwise defined in the Service Schedule, usage quantity is determined by Permitted Users. “Permitted Users” means such end users that are authorized by Customer or Customer Affiliate to access and use the Services."
- Counting rules
- The default usage quantity for every Mimecast Service unless the Service Schedule defines another one. The Services Order states the number of Permitted Users, and the customer may only allow that number of Permitted Users to use the Services (Service Schedule s.3.1.3). Users of Customer Affiliates count, and the customer is responsible for Affiliate use. Quantities can be increased mid-term at additional fees but not reduced until the start of a Renewal Term (GTC s.7.1.3). In the MSP channel, disabled user accounts still count toward the licensed seat total until a downsell order is processed.
- Floors / minimums
- No published minimum. Quantity fixed per Services Order for the Subscription Term; reductions only at renewal with at least 30 days written notice.
