- CrowdStrike Terms and Conditions: "“Endpoint” means any physical or virtual device, such as, a computer, server, laptop, desktop computer, mobile, cellular, container or virtual machine image." The Order states the Offering quantity "based on CrowdStrike’s applicable license metrics (e.g., number of Endpoints, ...)". Public price lists express the same unit as "per device".
- Counting rules
- Each physical or virtual device on which the Falcon sensor (Software Component) is installed counts toward the Order quantity; the definition names containers and virtual machine images as well as computers, servers, laptops and mobile devices. Customers may install multiple copies of Software Components up to the maximum quantity in the Order (Terms §3.2(a)). Online orders that exceed the licensed quantity require co-terminous licences at the then-standard price, pro-rated (Online Order Terms §1.a).
