- KnowBe4 Terms of Service s.1: "“User(s)” means individual(s) authorized by Customer to use a Subscription Service, for whom Customer purchased a subscription and to whom Customer has assigned a unique organizational email address (i.e., an email address assigned to an individual user using domain names that Customer owns)." Users may include employees, independent contractors and agents. Price lists express the same unit as a seat ("MSRP USD Monthly Pricing Per Seat").
- Counting rules
- Count every individual with an active (non-archived) account in the console, on a business domain the customer owns or is authorized to use (ToS s.4.2). The number of Users must not exceed the purchased seats; excess Users must be paid for promptly or removed (ToS s.3.2). Archived users are not counted in licensed seats; deleted users are removed with their history (KB 204367808). Seats may be reassigned only on normal workforce attrition; other reassignments need KnowBe4 written approval. Users added mid-term are co-terminous with the current Subscription Term. Add-ons such as Compliance Plus must be bought for the same number of seats as KSAT (KB 4401808867731).
- Floors / minimums
- SAT price bands start at 25-50 seats; add-on bands (Compliance Plus, Student Edition, Third-Party Integrations, PhishER Plus) start at 101-500 seats; 1001+ seats are quoted. Legacy SecurityCoach required a minimum of 101 seats. Quantities cannot be decreased during a Subscription Term (ToS s.2.2).
