Wrike add-ons are the enhancements and extra functions that Wrike sells on top of a plan. The Terms of Service define them: “Customer may purchase for additional Fees enhancements and/or additional functionalities for the applicable Service for the respective Subscription(s) (collectively, ‘Add-Ons’).” They also warn that “Add-Ons may be part of the Service or may be a Third Party Service that are not part of the Service and that are not subject to the terms of the Agreement.”[11] Wrike’s pricing page lists six premium add-ons and says they “are included with an Apex subscription (except Wrike Lock and AI Elite actions pack) or can be purchased as paid add-ons to other plans.”[1] See Add-ons are included with Apex except Wrike Lock and AI Elite packs and Add-Ons may be third-party services outside the Agreement.

The pricing page lists Wrike Whiteboard at USD 15 per user per month and every other add-on at “Custom pricing”.[1] Account Owners can activate trials and buy add-ons from within the account, and the Terms treat that as an In-Service Activation: the Account Owner “has the full legal authority to activate/purchase” and to accept additional terms for it.[11]
Metrics
Wrike Integrate task
Wrike Integrate “uses recipes to connect apps. Recipes are automated workflows which comprise of a trigger … and one or more actions”. Either the trigger or at least one action in every recipe must happen in Wrike.[2] The metric is the Wrike Integrate task: “Tasks in Wrike Integrate are units of work performed by the Wrike Integrate servers while executing the business logic of your recipes.” Each job a recipe runs can consume tasks.[3]
“Wrike Integrate accounts have a limited number of Wrike Integrate tasks available each month, as specified in their contract details.” The limit “is based on the number of Wrike full user licenses you’ve purchased. Collaborator, Contributor, and Viewer licenses don’t count toward this limit.” Wrike tasks and Wrike Integrate tasks are different things. The account owner is notified at 80% and 100% of the available tasks. At the limit, “your recipes will be stopped and no further jobs will be processed until the task limit is reset or additional tasks are acquired.”[3] The help article’s example reads “250k of 300k tasks remaining”, which shows a monthly limit of 300,000. See Wrike Integrate task limits follow Full User licences and stop recipes.
Datahub action
The plan table shows Wrike Datahub with “10K actions included in plan” for Pinnacle and “30M actions included in plan” for Apex.[9] Datahub is a data integration tool that connects external data to Wrike workflows as interactive databases. The Databases connector in Wrike Sync “requires a paid Datahub add-on”, and accounts that bought Sync, or purchased directly through Unito, or that are Pinnacle accounts with free Datahub access, “don’t get automatic access to this connector”.[6] See The Databases connector needs a paid Datahub add-on and Datahub action.
AI Elite action
The AI Elite Actions Pack is a supplemental pool of 12,000 actions that does not expire until renewal and is not included in Apex.[12][1] See Wrike AI Elite actions and Copilot.
Counting / floors
- Integrate Lite. “Wrike Integrate Lite is a curated (limited feature) version of Wrike Integrate”: access only to the chosen connector package instead of 400+ connectors, up to two hours of free onboarding assistance, and an “Adjusted Price” quoted by sales.[4]
- Sync systems. Wrike Sync is a no-code add-on for two-way syncs. The pricing page cites 22 integrated systems “including Jira, GitHub, and more”, and the help article lists Jira, Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, HubSpot, Excel, Google Sheets and others.[1][5] Sync is enabled by an Account Owner, who requests a trial from the Subscription page.
- Whiteboard. Wrike admins, space admins and regular users with the Whiteboard add-on can create and use Whiteboards. A customer needs the Wrike Whiteboard add-on (trial or paid), a Klaxoon Enterprise add-on, or a separate paid Klaxoon subscription with the integration enabled by support.[8] The add-on is described as “available as a paid add-on” for Business and Pinnacle, and Apex includes unlimited Whiteboards.[1]
- Lock. “You need an AWS KMS account or Microsoft Azure Key Vault to use Wrike Lock.” Emergency recovery keys can be created. On Pinnacle, Wrike Analyze data must be encrypted separately.[7]
Virtualization & partitioning
Not applicable. The add-on meters apply per Customer Account, and some count Full User licences: the Integrate task limit follows Full User licences, and the AI Elite allowance also follows them.[3] Under Wrike Lock with customer-managed keys, encryption does not apply to data placed on Whiteboards, Whiteboard metadata or part of the Wrike data exposed on native integration work item widgets.[7] See Wrike Lock needs customer key storage and does not cover all Whiteboard data.
Cloud / BYOL
Wrike Lock is the closest thing to bring-your-own-key: the master key “resides outside of Wrike” and “You own and manage your master encryption key”.[7] Two add-ons rely on partners, which affects the contract chain: “Wrike Integrate is powered by a partner: Workato”, and “The Wrike Sync add-on is powered by a Wrike partner, Unito.”[2][5] The Terms say a Third Party Service’s processing of Customer Data “shall be governed solely by the terms, if any, of the Third Party Service provider”.[11] See Wrike Integrate is powered by a partner.
Programs
- Trials: Wrike offers free trials of add-ons, and the Terms say Free Trial Services “are not part of the Service” and carry no warranty or support.[11] See Free trial.
- Apex bundling: Apex includes Whiteboard, Integrate, Sync and Datahub, which are sold separately on Business and Pinnacle.[10]
- Services: Professional Services packages are a deployment add-on in the pricing FAQ. See Support and consulting.
Audits and compliance
Add-ons increase the number of things an audit can count: Full User licences for Integrate and AI, Whiteboard users, Sync connections, and key arrangements for Lock. The Terms’ general audit clause applies to the whole Agreement.[11] See Wrike Terms of Service and audit.
Out of scope
This article does not cover the Workato, Unito or Klaxoon contracts, which are separate from Wrike’s, the full list of connectors, Wrike Analyze and other plan-bundled BI features, or Wrike’s professional services pricing. Add-ons sold only through an Order Form, with prices not published, are described only by their published availability.
