Lansweeper plans and add-ons

This article is about the Lansweeper Free, Starter, Pro and Enterprise plans, the Free Trial, add-ons such as Lansweeper SAM and Concierge, and helpdesk agent licenses. For how assets are counted see Lansweeper asset counting; for the overview see Lansweeper licensing.

On This Page

Lansweeper plans are the commercial packages in which Lansweeper sells its asset discovery platform. The Terms of Use distinguish a Free Plan, a Free Trial and Paid Subscriptions. Paid Subscriptions may be supplemented by Add-ons.[2] The public pricing page lists three paid plans, Starter, Pro and Enterprise, all billed annually and each with unlimited user seats.[1] The plans are sized by the Asset metric and limited in the number of installations (Lansweeper Deployment). They also differ in insights, integrations, API access, security controls and support. This article describes each package and add-on as Lansweeper publishes it. For the overview, see Lansweeper licensing.

Some capabilities are the same on every paid plan. IT, OT, cloud and agent discovery, discovery connectors, warranty collection, normalization, dashboards, report builder, export, diagrams, Flow Builder, bulk and report export, site branding, advanced permissions, MFA and SSO are ticked for all three. The Uptime SLA is 99.5% on each.[1] The Terms define the Uptime Service Level as a monthly percentage “as applicable under Customer’s Paid Subscription”. It does not apply to the Free Plan, the Free Trial, Free Tools, Beta Releases or Preview Features.[2] Collective Intelligence is marked as a Preview on all plans.[1] The standalone Lansweeper OT scanner is available to all license holders from the Starter license.[9]

The public prices are “from” figures in euros. The pricing FAQ states that the invoicing currency follows the billing address: GBP in the United Kingdom, USD in the United States, Canada and Latin America, and EUR elsewhere, unless Specific Terms say otherwise.[1] The catalog records the plans as Lansweeper Starter - annual, Lansweeper Pro - annual and Lansweeper Enterprise - annual.

Free Plan and Free Trial

The Free Plan (“Lansweeper Free”) is a free plan with limited, entry-level features, offered under conditions that Lansweeper may change at any time.[2] On the Lansweeper Platform, the Free plan scans the full environment with no asset cap. It includes 100 licensed assets, and assets beyond the first 100 are shown with basic details only.[4] Exporting views requires a paid plan.[4] In Lansweeper Classic, Free mode updates at most 100 assets and has no technical support or hotfixes.[5] The Free Plan runs for an undetermined period, and either party may end it at any time.[2] Free Plan customers receive no second-line support.[2] Catalog: Lansweeper Free plan; Free Plan.

The pricing page describes the Free Trial as 14 days of full access to asset discovery and inventory, after which the customer can “Continue free (up to 100 assets)”.[1] The trial needs no credit card.[8] Under the Terms, a Free Trial lasts for a period Lansweeper sets, expires automatically and reverts to the Free Plan.[2] Trial customers get support only if they gave a business email address as Billing Contact Email, and no initial response times apply.[2] Catalog proof: Free Trial expires and reverts to the Free Plan; Free plan licenses the first 100 scanned assets.

Counting / floors

Asset bands (as retrieved 2026-09-27). Starter includes 2,000 assets. Pro includes 2,000 assets and scales up to 9,000 in bands of 1,000. Enterprise starts at 10,000 assets and scales in bands of 2,000.[1] Catalog proof: Pro scales from 2,000 to 9,000 assets in bands of 1,000; Enterprise starts at 10,000 assets in bands of 2,000.

Upgrades and expansions. Asset licenses are not stackable. A customer that wants more assets extends its current license through sales rather than buying a second license.[1] In the Self-Service Subscription Portal, mid-cycle plan changes are prorated. Downgrades cannot be made in the portal and go through the account manager. Increasing asset coverage in the portal is available only on Pro and Enterprise plans.[7] The portal is open only to site owners on Starter, Pro and Enterprise plans, and not to partner-managed subscriptions.[10] Catalog proof: Asset licenses are not stackable; Mid-cycle plan changes are prorated; downgrades through sales; Self-service portal limited to site owners on paid plans.

Installations. Each plan fixes the number of installations. A second installation is also permitted for testing, limited to 10% of the subscribed asset limit.[1] See Lansweeper deployment types and license management.

Add-ons

The Terms define an Add-on as additional features that a customer can subscribe to on top of a Paid Subscription, for additional Charges. Add-on pricing may be fixed, per Asset, or any other modality specified in the Order. The right to use an Add-on is coterminous with the Paid Subscription it applies to.[2] Catalog proof: Add-ons are coterminous with the Paid Subscription.

Lansweeper SAM

Lansweeper SAM is a software asset management add-on for the Lansweeper Cloud Platform.[3] Lansweeper’s product page states that it is “powered by” a third-party partner, LICENSEWARE, the publisher of this wiki. This article describes only the add-on’s commercial terms as Lansweeper publishes them. The add-on uses simple per-asset annual pricing in two tiers. One Lansweeper asset equals one SAM asset, and only current Pro or Enterprise customers can add it.[3]

Tier Annual price per asset Scope described by Lansweeper
Core EUR 0.99 / USD 1.06[3] Software inventory enrichment, contract and entitlement tracking, AI-powered SAM assistant, audit and compliance reporting; covers common desktop and server titles; Standard Support[3]
Advanced EUR 1.99 / USD 2.13[3] Adds optimization insights and Tier 1 vendor collectors, with deeper vendor rules for suppliers such as Microsoft and Oracle; Enhanced Support[3]

Sales representatives can enable a short evaluation.[3] Because the SAM asset count follows the Lansweeper asset count, the add-on grows with the base subscription. Under the Terms, it also ends with the base subscription.[2] Catalog proof: Lansweeper SAM requires a Pro or Enterprise package.

Concierge

The Lansweeper Concierge service is aimed at large deployments. It is listed as an add-on on the Enterprise plan only, and no price is published.[1] Catalog: Lansweeper Concierge add-on.

Helpdesk agents

Lansweeper Classic includes a helpdesk that is licensed per agent. Any number of users may submit tickets, and a fee is paid for each agent who replies to and handles them. One free agent license is included in every Lansweeper license. Additional agent licenses are bought through the online store and applied as a license key.[6] After a new installation or an update, an unlimited number of agents is available for 20 days. When the agent trial or purchased agent licenses expire, secondary agents are deactivated.[6] Helpdesk agent licenses are stackable.[1] The Terms define Help Desk Agents as End Users with a Help Desk-agent subscription.[2] Catalog proof: Helpdesk licensed per agent with one free agent; SKU Lansweeper helpdesk agent license.

Virtualization & partitioning

No plan or add-on uses a processor, core or host metric. Virtual machines and cloud workloads count as Assets under the same rules on every plan, as set out in Lansweeper asset counting.

Cloud / BYOL

All paid plans include Cloud Discovery.[1] The pricing FAQ states that Lansweeper Cloud is an extension of the Lansweeper Platform at no additional licensing cost.[1] The SAM add-on is available for the Cloud Platform.[3] Plans are not tied to a hyperscaler marketplace in the retrieved documents.

Programs

Plans are sold directly, through the Self-Service Portal, or by a Reseller sales representative.[2] Reseller terms are covered in Lansweeper Terms of Use, renewal and compliance.

Out of scope

Part numbers, partner prices and negotiated discounts are not published. The retrieved documents do not describe the contents of the Starter, Pro and Enterprise support tiers, beyond their names and the Terms’ support lines, or the price of helpdesk agent licenses.
