- Azul Software Agreement Exhibit A-2: "“Virtual Core” or “vCore” means a virtual representation of processing power in a single hardware virtualization that can run its own operating system and execute applications like a physical machine." "“Unit” means Software Services with one or more instances of Azul Zulu Builds of OpenJDK running on one (1) Virtual Core; and one or more instances of Azul Mission Control running on an unlimited number of Virtual Cores."
- Counting rules
- Count one Unit per Virtual Core on which one or more instances of Azul Zulu Builds of OpenJDK run. Each Virtual Core maps to a single hardware thread in the underlying processing core; where only physical cores can be counted, each physical core equals two Virtual Cores. Azul Mission Control runs on an unlimited number of Virtual Cores within the Unit. The Product may only be used on the number of Units purchased (Agreement §2), and Support Services may not be used for more Units than purchased (§3(i)). Server deployments only: Desktops are excluded unless the Order Form states otherwise.

- No minimum quantity published. Public starting prices for Azul Support for OpenJDK: $20 per vCore per year and $40 per physical core (two vCores) per year, lower with volume and support tier.
