- Azul Software Agreement (Rev Sept-2019) Exhibit A-2: "“Supported Instance” means Software Services with (i) one or more instances of the Zulu Enterprise JDK/JRE running on either (a) one (1) Physical Node, or (b) one (1) Virtual Node" "“Physical Node” means a System that includes up to two (2) processor sockets, where each processor socket may include an unlimited number of processing cores." "“Virtual Node” means a virtual machine that includes up to thirty-two (32) virtual processing cores."

- Superseded model found in contracts on the September 2019 paper. One Supported Instance covers one Physical Node (a system with up to two processor sockets, unlimited cores per socket) or one Virtual Node (a virtual machine with up to 32 virtual processing cores). Systems with more than two sockets need one Supported Instance per two sockets; virtual machines with more than 32 virtual cores need one per 32 virtual cores. For Desktop-only purchases, one Supported Instance per Desktop.
