Dashlane Omnix is the name of Dashlane’s platform for organizations. The Help Center describes it as a credential security platform that extends password management to protect credentials beyond the vault, and it divides the platform into two areas, Password Management and Credential Protection, both powered by the Dashlane browser extension.[1] Organizations can buy the two areas separately or together. Dashlane calls the resulting plans “professional plans” to distinguish them from its personal plans.
The packaging is recent. Dashlane’s FAQ about professional plan changes states that Dashlane Business became Omnix Password Management and Dashlane Omnix became Omnix Enterprise, as name changes only, and that Team, Starter and Standard plans were not changed.[2] Credential Protection is the new element: it is a separate package for detecting and responding to credential risk, not a feature of the vault.
Editions
| Plan | What it is | Counting unit | List price signal | How it is bought |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Omnix Password Management | Secure vault, AI-Powered Autofill, secure sharing, admin vault policies, integrations | Seat per user | USD 8 or EUR 8 per user per month, billed annually[2] | Self-service on dashlane.com or in the Admin Console[7] |

The Help Center says the Enterprise plan lets an organization choose the number of seats for Password Management and the number of employees covered by Credential Protection.[1] The pricing page adds that Enterprise pricing is customized and volume-optimized on the user seat count and integration requirements, and describes Enterprise as built for organizations with more than 50 users; the Help Center says 50 employees or more.[3]
What each plan includes
The Help Center feature matrix separates the plans as follows.[1]
- Password Management includes SSO integration, SCIM provisioning, the Password Generator, the Password Health score dashboard, Dark Web Monitoring, VPN for Wi-Fi protection (not available during a free trial), unlimited secure sharing and Collections, sharing outside the company, link sharing, Secure Notes with 1 GB of encrypted document storage, password history and vault insights.
- Credential Protection includes Credential Risk Detection and insights, Credential Risk Alerts, Risk Notifications, AI Phishing Alerts, phishing insights, custom rules for phishing alerts and an Insights Dashboard. It does not include the vault features above, and the matrix shows no SSO or SCIM in the Credential Protection column, although the SSO article says SSO and SCIM are available to organizations with Password Management or Credential Protection.[1][9]
- All three list unlimited devices, tracking plan activity integrations, personalized security alerts, enforceable controls, enterprise deployment, email support seven days a week, live chat, and inbound phone support, onboarding support and a Customer Success Manager for qualifying accounts.[1]
Two beta features, Omnix AI Advisor and Vault Enforcement, are listed for Credential Protection and Enterprise, and Vault Enforcement also appears for Password Management.[1][5]
Legacy plans
Dashlane no longer sells Starter, Team or Standard plans, but customers can keep and renew them or switch.[1] The Help Center legacy table lists Standard and Starter as up to 10 seats and Team as unlimited seats. Standard has basic Activity Logs only and no group sharing, and some Starter limits apply to Collections and sharing groups.[1][17] The Omnix Password Management module is included in the legacy plans “with certain restrictions”.[4]
Metrics
Password Management is counted per seat; Credential Protection is counted per employee covered. Credential Protection coverage does not depend on a vault account. Credential Risk Detection, once switched on, monitors passwords entered by all employees on company-managed desktop browsers, including people who never created a Dashlane account and members who are logged out.[6] The pricing page puts the difference this way: Credential Protection acts across the entire workforce regardless of whether employees actively use a password vault.[3] For a licence manager, the covered-employee count is therefore a headcount decision about managed browsers, not a count of vault users. The Help Center billing answer for the paid plans is that billing follows the number of employees in the organization.[1]
Counting and floors
An Omnix Password Management plan bought without a trial needs at least 2 seats, and a purchase after a trial cannot have fewer seats than the number of members invited.[7] The Help Center places no limit on the number of admins; it recommends at least two.[1] Roles (Member, Admin and, for Password Management or Credential Protection, Group Manager) are also unlimited in number.[15] The public API is available to admins of all professional plans, and it reports seat counts through its Team Status endpoint.[11]
Virtualization and partitioning
Dashlane documents no virtualization rules. Instead, the relevant partitioning concept is the Space. Members of professional plans with Spaces can keep logins in a Business Space and a Personal Space; admins can see Password Health only from the Business Space and reused personal passwords, and Smart Space Management moves logins matching listed work domains into the Business Space. Some professional plans have no Spaces, and in those plans members cannot export their logins unless an admin turns on Allow Export.[16] Domain verification, which uses a DNS TXT record, has no limit on the number of domains an organization owns, and a Credential Protection policy can restrict sign-in to verified domains.[14]
Cloud and entitlement mechanics
Single sign-on and SCIM. SSO and SCIM are only available to organizations with Password Management or Credential Protection. Dashlane supports many SAML 2.0 identity providers, and the Help Center table shows SCIM provisioning for Azure, Okta, JumpCloud and PingID, SSO only for AD FS, and SAML group sync or a connected-IdP sync for Google Workspace and Duo.[9] Self-hosted SSO and SCIM could not be newly set up after October 2025, so Confidential SSO and SCIM, which run in secure enclaves, are the available option; a Confidential setup cannot be switched back to self-hosted.[9] From December 2026 Dashlane will no longer support Active Directory sync, and customers must move to SCIM provisioning or Just in Time Provisioning.[10]
Activity and API access. The Activity Log keeps 15 months of activity and can be exported; the Omnix platform adds logs for Credential Risk Detection and AI Phishing Alerts, and Dashlane lists integrations with SIEM and security awareness tools.[12] The public API is read-only, has four endpoints (Members, Members Device, Password Health, Team Status) and cannot reach member passwords.[11]
Data residency. By default Dashlane stores an organization’s important data at rest in the EU. U.S. East storage is available only when Dashlane creates the team through sales, it cannot be added to an existing team and the region cannot be changed afterwards.[13]
Deployment. Credential Risk Detection is deployed silently to company-managed Chrome and Edge browsers with Microsoft Intune, Group Policy or Jamf; other MDM tools are not supported, and Dashlane gives no custom guidelines or technical support for them. Data is collected only from the time the policies are deployed.[6]
Programs
- Omnix free trial. The Help Center offers a free 14-day trial for up to 10,000 employees. A trial can be extended by seven days; if no paid plan is bought in the extension, the trial expires and members cannot reach their data until the plan is reactivated.[7][8] If an organization buys only Password Management or Credential Protection after an Enterprise trial, trial customizations are saved but access to features not in the purchased plan is lost.[1] An admin with Password Management who has never used a trial can try Credential Protection for 14 days.[7] The Omnix free trial row records these terms.
- Nonprofit discount. Dashlane offers a 10 percent discount to nonprofit organizations signing up for professional plans, checked through Support, which asks for proof of nonprofit status, the size of the organization and the plan of interest.[18]
Out of scope
This article does not cover Dashlane’s cryptography, its Secure Cloud architecture, the integrations marketplace or pricing in currencies other than those shown in the cited FAQ. The pricing page shows “Per user/month billed annually” for each package with numbers rendered by script, and the dollar and euro figures here come from Dashlane’s own FAQ text. Seat billing, renewal and cancellation are in Dashlane seats, billing, renewal and offboarding, and the contract terms are in Dashlane Business Terms and Conditions.
