Keeper Security Business and Enterprise plans and add-ons

This article is about Keeper's Business Starter, Business and Enterprise password management plans and the Secure Add-Ons sold on top of them. For KeeperPAM, Secrets Manager, Connection Manager and Endpoint Privilege Manager see the PAM article; for MSP plans see Keeper Security MSP and partner licensing.

Keeper Security Business and Enterprise plans are the three per-user password management subscriptions Keeper sells to organisations: Business Starter, Business and Enterprise. Each is quoted per user per month and billed annually.[1] Business Starter and Business can be bought online. Enterprise is sold by quote.[1] Secure Add-Ons extend a base plan. Most of them are counted per user, like the base plan.[2][9]

The pricing page’s comparison table marks secrets management, remote access, database management and endpoint privilege management features as “Add-on” on the password management plans. These come from KeeperPAM or its components.[1] Upgrades from Business Starter or Business to Enterprise can be made with the Upgrade Plan button in the Admin Console. Users cannot be added in the same flow.[2]

Metrics

The base plans and most add-ons use the User metric, an Authorized End User in the Terms of Use.[3] Keeper’s MSP documentation states the add-on units explicitly: ARAM, BreachWatch, KeeperChat and Compliance Reporting are each charged “per user”.[9] Secure File Storage is measured as pooled storage: “Secure File Storage is pooled among the organization’s users.”[5]

Counting / floors

Business Starter band. Business Starter covers “5–10 users”.[1] The Subscriptions guide says that if a Business Starter account’s “total user count exceeds 10”, the plan is automatically updated to Keeper Business and per-user pricing is adjusted.[2] An eleventh user therefore changes the price of every user, not just the extra one. Catalog proof: Business Starter covers 5 to 10 users; Business Starter above 10 users moves to Keeper Business.

Adding licences. Admins add user licences from the Admin tab when no seats remain, or with Add Licenses on the Subscriptions tab. “Pricing reflects your current base plan.”[2] Additions are prorated to the annual term under the Terms of Use.[3] Catalog proof: Users added mid-term are prorated.

In-Console Checkout eligibility. Purchases inside the console need a Root Admin, or a Non-Root Admin with the Billing Admin permission. They also need a credit card on file and an active paid subscription. Accounts paying by SEPA or purchase order, and trial or expiring accounts, are sent to the external checkout instead.[2]

Add-ons

The Subscriptions guide lists the add-ons that can be bought in the console and where each applies.[2]

Endpoint Privilege Manager Endpoints, in blocks of 50 licences Endpoint Privilege Manager

Keeper Connection Manager, Remote Browser Isolation and Keeper Secrets Manager cannot be bought through In-Console Checkout and need the Keeper sales representative.[2] Secrets Manager is “licensed on a per-user, per-year basis” as an add-on to all business plans.[8] Catalog proof: KSM, KCM and RBI are not sold through In-Console Checkout; Secrets Manager licensed per user per year.

Advanced Reporting & Alerts

ARAM provides custom reports, alerts and SIEM streaming. Every Business and Enterprise subscription includes two built-in reports, “Recent Activity” and “All Security Events”. “Custom reporting and alerts is a feature of the Advanced Reporting and Alerts Module (ARAM).”[4] The pricing page marks SIEM integration as “ARAM required” on all three plans.[1] BreachWatch events reach ARAM only when a role policy enables them.[4] Catalog proof: Built-in reports included; custom reports and alerts need ARAM; SIEM integration requires ARAM.

Compliance Reporting

Compliance Reports show the access permissions on records. Admins activate them from the Subscriptions screen as a trial or purchase. Activation adds a “Run Compliance Reports” admin permission that controls who can create, view and edit the reports.[6] Catalog proof: Compliance Reports add a dedicated admin permission.

Secure File Storage

Storage is shared by all users rather than assigned to each user. To add storage, an admin uses Subscriptions and then Add Storage, and chooses a storage level at checkout.[5] Catalog proof: Secure File Storage is pooled across users.

Virtualization & partitioning

Not applicable. The plans and add-ons are counted by user or by storage, not by device or host. The pricing page lists unlimited devices for the Family Plan included with Business.[1]

Cloud / BYOL

All plans are Keeper-hosted. FedRAMP High and GovRAMP authorisation is marked “GovCloud only”.[1]

Programs

  • Free Family Plan for business users. Business plan users get a free Family Plan for up to five family members with unlimited devices.[1][7] The vault is “intended for personal use only”. The Enterprise Guide also notes that the linked personal account is licensed as a Family Plan with 10GB of storage and BreachWatch.[7] For an asset manager this is a home-use entitlement that does not need to be counted against the business quantity. Catalog proof: Free Family Plan is for personal use only.
  • Support tiers. Free support is included. Silver and Platinum are bought as SKUs.[3]
  • Free trial. Trials are available for Business, Enterprise and KeeperPAM.[1]
