- Definition
- SLA s.3.3: "The total number of individual users that have been granted access to the Software at any time during the Term (“Users”) may not exceed the number of Users designated in the Order by more than 5% (“License Scope”)."
- Counting rules
- Count every individual granted access at any time during the Term, not concurrent use. A user who is replaced for at least three months without overlapping access counts once with the replacement (s.3.4). Use by Affiliates is aggregated into the same License Scope (s.3.5). thinkcell detects excess use by counting GUIDs, random identifiers created on each machine where thinkcell is first used (s.3.6; maintenance guide). A licensed user may also run the software on a home computer for corporate work (order FAQ).
- Floors / minimums
- No minimum order: the price table starts at 1 user. A tolerance of 5% above the ordered number of Users is part of the License Scope.
