thinkcell

thinkcell makes charting and slide-productivity add-ins for Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. It is licensed per user as an annual lease that covers use, updates and support; no perpetual, concurrent or server licences are offered.

  1. thinkcell Essentials (without charting) and thinkcell Suite (with all charting) are priced per user per month, billed annually; thinkcell Assist is an AI add-on.[1]

  2. Licensing is an annual leasing scheme covering usage, updates and support for a one-year period; perpetual licences are not offered.[2]

  3. When a licence expires the software is deactivated; existing slide elements keep their appearance but can no longer be edited with thinkcell until renewal.[3]

  4. Use on Citrix and other server-based installations is allowed, but every individual user must be licensed; concurrent-user and server licences are not offered.[4]

  5. Licences may be transferred to a new user or computer occasionally, not on a regular basis, and a licensed user may also use the licence on a home computer for corporate work.[5]

  6. Academic and nonprofit organisations can obtain free licences for education, public research or nonprofit core operations under a signed Software License Agreement.[6]
