- Licensing Guidelines: "'User' means an employee, consultant or other individual who benefits from the Product." The Product does not have to be physically installed on the User's computer environment in order to provide benefit.
- Counting rules
- Each individual who benefits from a per-User product counts once, whatever the number of devices, subject to a reasonable number of Computers per User (Sophos may cap unreasonable use). In Sophos Fusion a device is associated with one user at a time; usage is calculated independently per license type; devices offline for more than 30 days are ignored; where the in-product calculation and the EULA definition differ, the EULA definition takes precedence.

- No minimum published in the Licensing Guidelines. Sophos Endpoint 100 is sold only to organizations with up to 100 employees (partner news, 2025-10-01).
