- Software NGFW Credits: "Software NGFW credits can be used to fund Software NGFWs (VM-Series and CN-Series), Cloud-Delivered Security Services (CDSS), or virtual Panorama appliances in networks with or without internet access (air-gapped networks, for example)."
- Counting rules
- Credits are activated into a credit pool and allocated to deployment profiles (vCPUs per firewall, number of firewalls, security services, optional virtual Panorama). Credits are consumed when firewalls are deployed and returned to the pool when a firewall, service or Panorama deployment is stopped (online) or when the licence token is returned in the Customer Support Portal (air-gapped). The per-vCPU and per-service credit rates are calculated by the vendor's Software NGFW Credit Estimator, which does not publish a static table.
- Floors / minimums
- Term of 1 to 5 years; both allocated and unallocated credits expire at the end of the term. Additional credits added to a pool must share the pool's expiration date. No grace period: credit pools start on the email delivery date of the activation link (Grace Periods policy).
