- Freshservice support (customers that signed up after 2025-04-03): chargeable managed assets are assets discovered through the Discovery Probe and Agent, assets from third-party sources (Intune, Jamf, Automox, Chrome Connector, Workspace One, cloud discovery apps for Azure, AWS, GCP and Kubernetes) and assets added manually through the UI, API, CSV or custom integrations.
- Counting rules
- One managed asset per chargeable asset, except S3 buckets: 10 buckets equal 1 Managed Asset. Assets brought in through Advanced Discovery (powered by Device42) are excluded while that subscription is active; if it is cancelled they count toward the asset pack unless moved to trash.
- Floors / minimums
- Sold as managed asset packs under ITAM Classic. Existing customers move to the Asset Unit model at the first renewal after migrating to the new ITAM; ITAM Classic is planned to be discontinued in December 2028.
