- FortiFlex Administration Guide (Points): "Resource consumption is based upon predefined points that are calculated on a daily basis (PST/PDT time zone). Points can be purchased in advance or billed on a month basis based on the number of CPUs and service package."
- Counting rules
- Each entitlement consumes a daily point rate set by its configuration (CPU count and service package for VMs; service type and quantity for hardware, SaaS and endpoint entitlements). The largest CPU size and service package in a PST/PDT day is charged; stopped entitlements consume no points. Prepaid points are deducted daily from registered point packs; postpaid (MSSP) points are billed monthly. Daily rates are fixed for up to one year from program registration.

- Prepaid point packs of 1,000, 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 points (bulk packs 1K, 50K, 1M). MSSP (postpaid) program minimum annual consumption commitment of 50,000 points.
