- Definition
- Product Guide s.1.1: "“Concurrent Users” means the total number of Users accessing or using the Software at any given time to maintain an Active Connection, including active and idle session states, to their desktop through each endpoint device." An Active Connection is any connection to Powered-On Desktop Virtual Machines, Terminal Services Sessions and physical computers (narrower definitions apply to Horizon for Linux and Horizon Apps).
- Counting rules
- Idle sessions count. For Horizon Enterprise, Enterprise Plus and Universal Subscription CCU licences, each Concurrent User may use Windows or Linux desktops but not both at the same time, and only one Powered-On Desktop Virtual Machine. Horizon Console tracks the Highest concurrent count since the pod was configured or the count was last reset. Horizon Standard and Horizon for Linux are sold only per Concurrent User.
