- Outbound licences are checked out for the duration of the outbound voice treatment. Additional licences can be purchased as outbound only and are added on top of licences designated outbound.
- Counting rules
- An outbound call is not launched and is retried until a licence is available. Outbound calls occupy a licence for an average of 50 seconds; an unreleased outbound licence times out after 5 minutes. Example in the documentation: 150 outbound-only licences plus 300 designated outbound gives 450 outbound.

- At least one outbound licence per queue group holding inbound licences.
