- SLASA s.2(g): "Device" means a Customer device, including Apple, Inc. devices such as iOS, iPadOS, macOS, or tvOS devices. Product Offerings may have Device quantity limits set in the Quote or Order (s.3(a)).
- Counting rules
- Count each managed device of the licensed type. Jamf Pro shows purchased seats per platform (macOS, iOS, tvOS) under Settings > System > License information (activation code) and raises a Device Count Exceeded notification when enrolled devices exceed the licensed count or a device type is enrolled that the subscription does not cover. Unmanaged computers keep their inventory record until deleted; Jamf advises deleting them so licence counts stay accurate. Jamf Now charges per enrolled device per month and stops charging when a device is unenrolled.
