- calendar year licence; academic year licence; full year licence
- Definition
- Jamf School documentation: every device enrolled in Jamf School must have a licence assigned to it to be managed. Recurring licence types are calendar year (ends December 31), academic year (ends July 31, or January 31 for the Southern hemisphere) and full year (one year from purchase or a configured end date).
- Counting rules
- One licence per enrolled device, assigned automatically on enrolment. Calendar and academic year licences bought part-way through the period are charged pro rata for the remainder. Removing a recurring licence (after moving the device to the Trash) frees it for another device. Expiry starts a two-week grace period.
- Floors / minimums
- None published in the documentation; education pricing says device minimums apply.
