- Definition
- GitHub Advanced Security license billing: "Each active committer to at least one repository with an Advanced Security feature enabled uses one license. A committer is considered active if one of their commits has been pushed to the repository within the last 90 days, regardless of when it was originally authored."
- Counting rules
- Counted as unique active committers across the whole organization or enterprise, so one person uses one license however many repositories they push to. Only committers who hold a GitHub Team or GitHub Enterprise license with the organization or enterprise count; GitHub App bots are ignored. After migration with GitHub Enterprise Importer only post-migration commits count. Secret Protection and Code Security are licensed separately; GitHub Code Quality has its own per-committer license on the same 90-day rule.
- Floors / minimums
