- As published 2026-09-30: for a person using several GitHub Enterprise environments to consume only one license, license usage must be synchronized between environments; GitHub then deduplicates users by the email addresses on their accounts, for the GitHub Enterprise plan and for Advanced Security products. Without sync, the same person can be counted on each deployment.
