- As published 2026-09-30: if GitHub Enterprise Cloud is used through a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, connecting an Azure subscription is the only way to use Advanced Security, Codespaces or Copilot, or to use Actions, Git LFS or Packages beyond the plan's included amounts. Usage billed through Azure is charged on the first of each month; prepaid usage is not available through Azure.
