- Definition
- MSA: an Authorized User "means one individual natural person, whether an employee, business partner, contractor, or agent of Customer or its Affiliates who is registered by Customer in Customer’s Account to use the Docusign Services". Order Forms may call Authorized Users "Seats" (eSignature and CLM Service Schedules s.4.1); the IAM Schedule treats Seats and Users as the same thing.
- Counting rules
- Seat Allowance is the maximum number of Authorized Users registered in the account at a given time. Each Authorized User needs a unique email address and user name and may not be shared. Users may be unregistered and replaced without penalty while the total stays within the Seat Allowance. In IAM, Entitlements in use are the registered and active Users or Seats with access to Docusign IAM at any time during the Term.
