- Zone (billing); billable domain
- Definition
- Units of Measurement: a "Domain" is "a publicly registrable domain (e.g., example.com) along with its child subdomains (e.g., help.example.com) that is configured individually in the Cloudflare dashboard and assigned its own unique zone ID". Pro domain and Business domain are domains entitled to the Pro or Business subscription level as defined at cloudflare.com/plans/.
- Counting rules
- Application services plans (Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise) are billed per domain; subdomains of a domain do not count as billable domains. A subdomain that must be managed separately from its parent gets its own zone ID and counts as a separate domain. Enterprise orders distinguish Enterprise primary domains, Enterprise secondary domains (50 GB or less of data transfer per month and/or DNS) and Enterprise DNS-only domains (0 GB of data transfer).
- Floors / minimums
- No minimum number of domains. Each domain on a paid plan is one billed unit; a Free-plan domain produces a $0 invoice line.
