WithSecure partner and MSP licensing describes the commercial channel for WithSecure Elements. WithSecure sells Elements through certified partners: resellers, distributors and managed service providers (MSPs). Its business pricing page tells prospective customers to “Talk to a certified partner” to choose between annual licensing, monthly subscription and usage-based pricing.[5] Partners order in the WithSecure Partner Portal and receive subscription keys, which they assign to the customer companies they manage in Elements Security Center.[4] For MSPs, WithSecure publishes two priced bundles, Elements Protect and Elements Proactive. Each is priced per protected Device and per protected User identity.[1]
Editions
Elements Protect and Elements Proactive
The MSP pricing page presents the two bundles as “Simple packages”.[1]
| Bundle | Recommended retail price | Device-priced content | Identity-priced content |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elements Protect | “Total RRP* starting from: 16,90€/ month” | MDR for Endpoints (Elements Endpoint Security), Mobile Protection | MDR for Identities (Elements Identity Security), Collaboration Protection |

The page describes Elements Protect as “For MSPs with small to mid-sized clients who need reliable 24/7 reactive security”. Elements Proactive adds “AI-powered exposure management to stop breaches before they start”. Both bundles include the Elements Cloud Platform, Elements Security Center and the Luminen AI assistant, which is “Included at no extra cost”.[1]
Ordering types
Solution Providers and Service Partners order Elements for a customer company in the Partner Portal. There they “select either New SaaS Order or New Yearly Order”.[4] WithSecure’s Collaboration Protection solution overview says that the SaaS version “allows service providers to utilize flexible business models, e.g. Usage Based Invoicing for all the WithSecure™ Elements products”.[7] The MSP landing page describes the same choice as “subscription or usage-based models”.[9] Catalog: Subscription keys and billing come through the partner, WithSecure Elements purchase models (annual, monthly, usage-based).
Metrics
| Metric | Catalog row | Bundle content |
|---|---|---|
| Device | Device | “Pricing based on number of devices” |
| User identity | User identity | “Pricing based on number of user identities” |
“Different pricing is applied to protected devices (workstations, servers, mobile devices) vs. protected digital identities (Entra ID; M365).”[1] An MSP customer therefore carries two meters. The device meter counts every workstation, server and phone with an Elements agent. The identity meter counts the protected Entra ID and Microsoft 365 users. See Concurrent and device licensing and Subscription and consumption licensing for these metric families. Catalog: Devices and identities are priced separately; one monthly invoice.
Counting / floors
Bundle price basis. “The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) for bundles is the total price, including 1 identity and 1 device. RRP does not include the MSP services on top of bundles (you customize them). Total Volume Pricing model is used for the Elements Bundles.”[1] The page does not publish the volume bands, so the per-unit price at a given quantity is known only from partner price lists. Catalog: MSP bundle RRP includes 1 identity and 1 device; Total Volume Pricing.
Partner price. “RRPs are not the final price from WithSecure to partners, this is defined according to our Global Partner Program.”[1]
Invoicing. “The invoice is typically consolidated, meaning all services and products under the agreement are included in a single monthly invoice.”[1] The MSP landing page lists “Consolidated invoicing” as a benefit.[9]
No minimum commitment. The MSP FAQ answers the question “Is there a minimum commitment or contract length?” with: “No. You can scale up or down whenever you like. Our usage-based model means you don’t need to worry about long-term contracts (or surprises).”[3] Licences and billing are managed in the Partner Portal, “with automated provisioning across every client”.[3] Catalog: MSPs have no minimum commitment or contract length.
Trial licences. The MSP onboarding steps suggest getting “clients started with trial licenses that help them see the real-world value with live scans/reports”.[9] Under the Terms of Use, evaluation rights are for “non-commercial purposes”. Commercial use after the evaluation period requires a purchased subscription.[8] Catalog: Evaluation rights are for non-commercial use only.
Virtualization & partitioning
The MSP pages add no virtualization rules. Virtual machines are counted as devices under the rules in WithSecure Elements subscriptions and module licensing.
Cloud / BYOL
Elements is multi-tenant and hosted by WithSecure. End customers can also buy it “directly through the AWS Marketplace — using your existing AWS spend and procurement process”, with the “same certified partner support”.[5] Catalog: WithSecure Elements on AWS Marketplace.
Programs
Partner Program
“Our tiered partner program rewards your success with higher discounts, additional incentives, and dedicated sales support that scales with your ambition.” The Partners page invites partners to “Join 5,000+ partners”. It lists “Growing discounts, target bonuses, and marketing funds as you reach higher partner levels”, deal registration, and “One Partner Portal for ordering, support, marketing materials, and funding”.[2] Catalog: WithSecure Partner Program.
Distributor Program
“WithSecure collaborates closely with 30+ qualified distributors worldwide”. Distributors receive joint go-to-market plans, marketing funds and a named WithSecure contact.[2] Catalog: WithSecure Distributor Program.
MSP Program
The MSP Program offers a “Modular, multi-tenant Elements platform — one platform, every customer, reduced complexity”, together with 24/7 expert backing and service design support.[2] MSPs can co-brand or white-label the solution.[3] Catalog: WithSecure MSP Program.
Account hierarchy in Elements Security Center
Elements Security Center has three account levels. “Solution Providers (SoPs) manage Service Partners and groups of companies.” Service Partners (SePs) manage a group of companies, and each company manages itself.[4] Only Solution Providers and Service Partners can add customer companies and order products for them. A new customer company appears in Elements Security Center once its first purchase order is processed in the Partner Portal. Company users “must request for a subscription key from their partner”.[4]
Billing path
WithSecure’s knowledge base directs billing questions along the channel. “If you are an end-customer, you need to contact your own WithSecure reseller partner if you have questions about billing.” Reseller partners contact their WithSecure Sales contact or WithSecure Order Services.[6] The Terms of Use have a matching provision. If the agreement between WithSecure and the reseller or distributor ends, the customer’s subscription may be terminated early, and the customer “shall not be entitled to a refund, damages, or other compensation from WithSecure”.[8] A third party such as an MSP may administer the Solution only “for your sole benefit and on your behalf”.[8] Catalog: End customers resolve billing with their reseller, On termination, stop use and delete installed copies, Third-party administration only for the customer's sole benefit.
