Infor CloudSuite and Infor OS subscriptions

This article is about Infor's multi-tenant cloud subscriptions: the Multi-tenant Cloud Customer Bill of Rights, the Service Level Agreement, Infor OS tiers and service limits, usage reporting, Velocity Suite and support plans. For perpetual on-premises licences see Infor on-premises terms and licence audits.

Infor CloudSuite subscriptions are Infor’s software-as-a-service offering. Infor describes CloudSuites as “suites of modular, seamlessly integrated cloud solutions purpose-built for specific industries”, with ERP at the core. Depending on need, they also include product lifecycle management, supply chain management, warehouse management and other applications. They run on Infor’s AWS-native cloud platform.[5] The customer subscribes under an Order Form and “the Agreement governing the Order Form”.[1] The technology platform under every CloudSuite is Infor OS, which Infor licenses in tiers with fixed service quantities.[3]

Three public documents set the commercial frame around the private Order Form. The Multi-tenant Cloud Customer Bill of Rights covers flexibility, usage-based rights and service levels for Infor-proprietary software hosted in a multi-tenant environment.[1] The Service Level Agreement (May 2026) “forms an integral part of the Order Form”.[2] The Infor OS Service Limits page lists what each platform tier includes.[3]

Editions

CloudSuites are sold by industry, with industry functionality “down to the micro-vertical level”.[5] Infor publishes no edition matrix or price list for them. The public documents describe edition-like tiers for Infor OS only:

Infor OS tier Infor’s description
Foundation “the entry point to the Infor multi-tenant SaaS technology platform”[3]
Essentials “the default version included with most Infor multi-tenant SaaS CloudSuites”[3]
Professional Increased usage limits over Essentials[3]
Enterprise “the largest standard tier”[3]

Infor Velocity Suite is sold alongside the suites as “an all-inclusive AI offering that pairs with every Infor CloudSuite”. It includes industry AI agents, generative AI, process mining and automation.[6]

Metrics

Subscription fees for users are separate from Infor OS usage. The Bill of Rights states that the Infor OS service “is priced separately from subscription fees for users to access Subscription Software”.[1] The public documents do not define the user subscription metric itself, so the Order Form governs it. Inside one product, the SyteLine cloud documentation says that Infor uses a “usage-tracking” model: SyteLine “no longer validates user licenses to limit access”, but modules must still be licensed for a number of users in a site (SyteLine usage-tracking license).[10] An older 9.01.x guide had said that in the cloud “All licenses are named user licenses”.[11]

Infor OS quantities are licensed per tier and per service. Selected rows from the Service Limits table:[3]

Service (resource) Foundation Essentials Professional Enterprise Unit
User Management (SSO) 3,000 15,000 75,000 510,000 Logins per day
Integration (Processing Capacity) 350 350 3,500 35,000 MB per day
API Gateway (API Executions) 125,000 250,000 1,250,000 6,250,000 Executions per day
Document Management (Document Output) 1,500 15,000 75,000 300,000 Documents per day
Storage Capacity (Non DB Storage) 1 2 4 8 TB per contract
Cloud Egress 2 3 6 12 TB per year
Application Development (Runtime User) Add-on 400 1,600 6,000 Concurrent User

Catalog rows: API Gateway executions per day, Integration processing capacity, SSO logins per day, Application Development runtime user, Non-database storage.

Counting / floors

Measurement. The Infor Concierge Usage dashboard “displays usage data against limits determined by your licensing”. Each tile shows usage as a percentage of the licensed amount, for example API Gateway calls in a day against the daily limit. Reports cover the previous 48 hours and can be filtered by tenant and by monthly, daily or hourly interval.[4] “Each service can have additional resource capacity added”.[3] Catalog proof: Concierge usage dashboard compares use with licensed limits; Infor OS Essentials is included with most multi-tenant CloudSuites.

Usage-based rights. The Bill of Rights sets up-front rules for three usage-based rights.[1]

  • Storage. Usage “takes into account all environments, including the production and all non-production environments”. More storage is sold in 1 TB increments for at least one year.
  • Non-production environments. Extra environments, for example for training, are sold for a minimum six-month term.
  • Programmatic access. Interaction between Infor products and third-party programs for automation, workflows, connectivity or extensibility “may be enabled by leveraging the Infor OS service, and is priced based on volume throughput”.

Catalog proof: Cloud storage counts all environments; Additional non-production environments have a 6-month minimum; Programmatic access is priced on throughput through Infor OS.

SyteLine in the cloud. Because the software does not block access, “It is up to the system administrator to set up authorizations” that keep users out of modules the company has not bought. Infor “can perform ‘snapshot’ auditing, through database queries”. The audit compares forms and IDOs being accessed, and the number of concurrent users per module, with what was purchased.[10] Catalog proof: SyteLine cloud uses usage tracking with snapshot audits; SyteLine cloud administrators must restrict unlicensed modules.

Virtualization & partitioning

Infor hosts the software, so the customer has no hardware to count. The SLA distinguishes multi-tenant environments from single-tenant environments, which it describes as “a single instance of the Application serving a single Customer”. The two have different service levels.[2] The Bill of Rights benefits apply only to Infor-proprietary Subscription Software “hosted by Infor in a multi-tenant environment”.[1]

Cloud / BYOL

Service levels. Multi-tenant customers get service level credits when monthly Availability falls below 99.7%. Single-tenant customers get credits only below 99.5%. Credits range from 5% to 35% of the monthly prorated Subscription Fee, apply to production environments only, and are the exclusive remedy. If production Availability falls below 95% for three consecutive months, or for four months in a rolling twelve, the customer may terminate the affected Order Form and receive a pro rata refund.[2] Excluded Minutes include “Performance degradation due to Customer’s use of the Application in excess of the scope of Customer’s usage restrictions”. Use above the subscription can therefore weaken a service level claim.[2] Catalog proof: Single-tenant availability credits start below 99.5%; Use beyond usage restrictions is excluded from SLA downtime.

From on premises to cloud. No bring-your-own-licence conversion was found in the public documents. The lifecycle policy offers Transitional Support of up to 18 months for an existing on-premises licence while the customer moves to a cloud subscription. It also says that the lifecycle policy itself “does not cover subscription products”.[7]

Programs

  • Multi-tenant cloud product swap. A customer may exchange subscription quantity of one eligible product for another. The products must have been subscribed for at least twelve months, and swaps happen once per year on the anniversary date, requested at least 90 days ahead. Infor sets the exchange ratio “based on relative value”, and “In no event will a swap transaction reduce the aggregate Annual Subscription Fees payable to Infor”. “Third party products and Infor™ Velocity Suite are excluded.”[1] Catalog proof: Multi-tenant product swaps once a year without reducing fees; Velocity Suite and third-party products cannot be swapped.
  • Severity 1 support. Infor provides 24x7x365 support for Severity 1 incidents, with a response within 30 minutes of a correctly logged request.[1] The SLA sets response targets by priority for the Infor Premium Support Plan and the Infor CareFor Success Professional and Enterprise plans.[2]
  • Infor CareFor Success. Professional offers live case triage and priority queuing. Enterprise adds an assigned success manager and support advocate, release readiness and risk scans.[9]
  • Infor Velocity Suite. Infor contrasts it with vendors that “charge per user, per bot, or per transaction” and says it “replaces that model with a flat-fee”.[6] Catalog proof: Velocity Suite is sold for a flat fee.
  • Professional Services. These are performed under Work Orders, on a time and materials basis unless the Work Order says otherwise. Infor owns the Work Product, and the customer receives a perpetual internal-use right.[8] Catalog proof: Infor owns professional services work product.
