- A NetScaler software instance licence. Flexed licensing has four instance pools: VPX/CPX/BLX software instance, MPX software instance (also used for MPX FIPS), SDX software instance (also SDX FIPS) and VPX FIPS software instance.
- Counting rules
- Each NetScaler VPX, CPX or BLX instance, each MPX and each VPX hosted on an SDX checks out one instance licence together with its bandwidth. The Management Service of an SDX-Z does not consume an instance. When checked out, the licence unlocks the instance resources, including CPUs, SSL cores, packets per second and bandwidth.
- Floors / minimums
- MPX and VPX check out one instance each; SDX minimum instances depend on model and release (one instance from build 14.1-12.x with a Flexed licence).
