- A legacy licensing framework in which NetScaler Console, configured as the licence server, holds a common bandwidth pool (separate Standard, Advanced and Premium pools) and an instance pool that VPX, CPX, BLX, MPX-Z and SDX-Z instances check out of and back into.
- Commercial rules
- A pooled subscription cannot be upgraded in edition or bandwidth; to change edition a new pooled subscription must be purchased. Bandwidth upgrades do not apply because each instance checks out what it needs.
