ManageEngine sells Active Directory management, auditing and log analysis as separate products. ADManager Plus handles AD, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration. It is licensed on the number of domains, the number of help desk technicians and the edition.[1] ADAudit Plus audits changes and logons. It is licensed on the number of domain controllers, with unlimited objects, and add-ons cover file servers, NetApp filers, member servers and workstations.[3] Log360 is a SIEM that includes EventLog Analyzer and the ADAudit Plus auditing components. It is licensed on log sources, domain controllers, file servers, endpoints and cloud accounts, and a customer can buy only the components it needs.[5] ADManager Plus and ADAudit Plus fall under the ManageEngine EULA.[10] Log360 has its own product EULA.[8]

ADManager Plus follows a global licensing model rather than a feature-based one, so a single feature cannot be bought on its own. A customer that needs only bulk user creation still buys a full edition.[1] Upgrading between editions is priced pro rata, and a new licence file is issued.[1]

ADManager Plus
Domains (as retrieved 2026-09-27). ADManager Plus has no consolidated licence for an AD forest. Every domain to be managed must be licensed, and child domains need separate licences.[1] Within a licensed domain, the number of objects (users, computers, groups and OUs) is unrestricted in every edition.[1] A licence can be installed on only one machine, so one licence cannot serve several locations of a geographically spread domain.[1] Catalog proof: ADManager Plus needs a licence for each domain, including child domains; An ADManager Plus licence can be installed on only one machine.
Technicians. A help desk technician is a person authorized to perform management tasks that an administrator has delegated.[1] Technician licences are named and are consumed as soon as a user account is configured in the product.[1] Every licence includes one administrator account.[2] An administrator who delegates nothing needs no technician pack.[1] Catalog proof: ADManager Plus technician licences are named and consumed on account configuration.
Prices. The pricing page lists annual licences only. One domain with 2 help desk technicians is US$595 in Standard (ADManager Plus Standard - 1 domain + 2 help desk technicians) and US$1,795 in Professional (ADManager Plus Professional - 1 domain + 2 help desk technicians). Each additional domain costs US$345 in Standard and US$595 in Professional.[2] Slabs go up to 20 technicians, and customers between slabs or above 20 technicians get a quote.[2] The Backup and Recovery add-on is priced on user objects, from 250 upward, and costs the same for both editions.[2] An add-on bought for 500 users can back up 500 enabled users in each of AD, Entra ID and Google Workspace.[1] The Governance, Risk and Compliance add-on is available only with Professional, at US$495 on an annual licence.[2] Add-ons are always bought separately from the edition.[1]

ADAudit Plus
Domain controllers and add-ons (as retrieved 2026-09-27). The base licence counts domain controllers. File Server, NetApp Filer, Member Server and Workstation add-ons extend auditing to those machines.[3] The pricing page also lists Azure AD tenants and NAS file servers from a dozen storage vendors.[4] Any number of computers can be added to the console, but data is collected only from enabled computers. The number that can be enabled for each type depends on the licence count bought for it.[3] Catalog proof: ADAudit Plus collects data only from enabled computers up to the licensed counts.
Prices. All ADAudit Plus prices are annual subscription fees. The Log360 FAQ lists the log source types: Windows and Linux/Unix servers, firewalls, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, AS400, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS sites, Salesforce and other applications. Endpoints are Windows workstations and Macs.[9] EventLog Analyzer is licensed on log sources, endpoints and cloud accounts, not on log volume.[5] Catalog proof: Log360 needs a minimum of 10 log sources; OS and applications on one machine count once; Log360 domain controller component has a minimum of 2; endpoints sold in packs of 100.
Shared member servers. A member server licensed for auditing in ADAudit Plus can also be monitored in EventLog Analyzer. Prices. Log360 publishes annual and perpetual prices for each component. For example, 10 log sources cost US$795 per year or US$2,386 perpetual (Log360 - 10 log sources, annual), and 2 domain controllers cost US$945 per year or US$2,866 perpetual.[6] Log360 Cloud Professional starts at US$1,095 per year for 10 log sources, and Enterprise at US$1,395 (Log360 Cloud Professional - 10 log sources, annual).[11]
Virtualization & partitioning
None of these products is priced on processor or host capacity. Log360 log sources explicitly include VMs, so each monitored virtual machine is a log source like a physical one.[7] ADAudit Plus counts domain controllers and audited servers by number, with no distinction between physical and virtual.[3] The Log360 EULA’s Single Installation License means one copy may be installed on only one server.[8] The general EULA applies the same limit to ADManager Plus and ADAudit Plus.[10]
Cloud / BYOL
Log360 Cloud is sold as a separate annual-billing subscription with Professional and Enterprise editions, priced on log sources, domain controllers and file servers.[11] Log360 on premises monitors cloud sources through the cloud account component, which counts Office 365 tenants and AWS accounts.[7] ADAudit Plus audits Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) tenants as a priced component.[4] The retrieved documents describe no conversion of on-premises licences into cloud subscriptions.
Programs
- Annual Subscription License and Perpetual License. Both models apply to the Standard and Professional editions of ADManager Plus. The annual fee includes AMS. The perpetual fee is one-time, but AMS must be renewed every year.[1] For EventLog Analyzer, the perpetual model charges a nominal AMS fee, while the annual model runs for one year and includes AMS in the price.[5] A Log360 subscription must be renewed at least 10 days before the term expires.[8] Catalog proof: EventLog Analyzer perpetual carries AMS; annual subscription includes it.
- AMS. ADManager Plus AMS covers phone, email and live chat support, service packs, bug fixes, and minor and major upgrades. - Free Edition and Evaluation License. The limits for each product are described above. The Log360 EULA describes its Free Edition as allowing all components, with restrictions on the number of users, mailboxes and workstations.[8]
Audits and compliance
The Log360 EULA reserves Zoho’s right to audit use on seven days’ written notice, at the customer’s facilities during business hours.[8] The general EULA contains the same clause for ADManager Plus and ADAudit Plus.[10] The Log360 EULA also states that Zoho collects usage details, including licence details, system configuration and feature usage.
