Aurora Security Awareness & Training (ASAT) is Arctic Wolf’s security awareness training and phishing simulation service. Arctic Wolf’s legal page lists it as “formerly Managed Security Awareness (MA)”.[10] It delivers microlearning sessions, quizzes, phishing simulations and account takeover (dark web) monitoring through an Administrator Dashboard.[2] ASAT can be licensed on its own or as part of a Security Operations Bundle.[1] Unlike Arctic Wolf’s other products, it can also be bought online. Prices are published per user per month.[4] The licensing unit is the User. See named user licensing for the general model.

Source for the table: Managed Awareness Product Description.[2] The Product Description adds that features marked with an asterisk are not available when the licence is bought online. These include the custom services and SCORM content modifications.[2] The CCP is a collection of longer compliance courses, for example on HR, PCI and HIPAA topics.[6]
The ASAT Supplemental Product Terms list the components. Software means the Phishtel Reporting Engine and the Report Email Button. Content means online access and download rights to licensed learning content and the Content Compliance Pack. The Hosting Environment is the Administrator Dashboard. Services covers support, onboarding, content modification and the Cyber Resilience Assessment. Professional Services need a separate statement of work.[1]
Metrics
User. The online Website Terms define Users as “the Customer employees, agents, subcontractors, and consultants permitted to access and/or view the Solution, up to the number of Users selected by Customer”.[3] The licence grant lets the customer load its Users and distribute Content to them. It is subject to “license counts, including by User or such other applicable licensing metric”.[3] When ASAT is ordered on an Order Form, the General Terms apply the same principle: use is limited to the licence counts and metric on the Order Form.[8] Catalog: User (Security Awareness); rule Security awareness Users include employees, agents, subcontractors and consultants.
The definition is broad. Contractors and consultants who receive training count as Users, as well as employees. A licence manager sizing an ASAT subscription should count everyone loaded into the Administrator Dashboard, because the Dashboard tracks session statistics and history per User.[2]
Counting / floors
Online price points. The website offers three plans:[4]
| Plan | Online list price | Catalog SKU |
|---|---|---|
| Managed Security Awareness | USD 2.99 per user per month | MA (online) |
| Managed Security Awareness Plus | USD 3.99 per user per month (shown as USD 3.59 with a 10% discount on the retrieval date) | MA Plus (online) |
| Managed Security Awareness Plus & CCP | USD 4.99 per user per month | MA Plus & CCP (online) |
The prices include all listed components for 30 to 100 users and are billed annually at the time of purchase. Online purchase is available only in the US and auto-renews unless cancelled.[4] For more than 100 users, or for renewal pricing, the page refers buyers to Arctic Wolf. Existing customers and organisations already in contact with Arctic Wolf may qualify for other pricing.[4] Catalog: Online MA prices cover 30 to 100 users, billed annually, US only.
Over-deployment. The Website Terms limit Users to the number selected at purchase.[3] For Order Form customers, the General Terms audit applies. Arctic Wolf may request records for up to one year after the Agreement and invoice excess licences pro rata to the end of the term.[8] Catalog: Audit during the term and one year after; excess licences invoiced pro rata.
Virtualization & partitioning
Not applicable. ASAT is a hosted service counted by User, not by device or processor.[1]
Cloud / BYOL
ASAT is delivered from Arctic Wolf’s third-party data centres in the United States.[1] The Report Email Button needs a Microsoft 365 deployment.[2] Ongoing microlearning content is offered in U.S. English, U.K. English, U.S. Spanish and German.[6] The customer owns its Learner Data, Phishtel Data and any content it creates. Arctic Wolf deletes customer Confidential Information within 120 days after expiry or termination.[1] Learner Data covers each User’s name, email and work title together with learning status, training scores and phishing results. Phishtel Data, collected only if the Report Email Button is deployed, includes the full content of emails that Users report.[1] Any licence to Arctic Wolf Trademarks in the Content is conditional. The customer must follow Arctic Wolf’s trademark guidelines, may not remove the marks without consent, and may not imply endorsement.[1]
