- User licensing update (from June 17, 2024): on paid accounts admins can add users with neither a Zoom Workplace licence nor Zoom Meetings Basic permissions; such users can join meetings and collaborate but cannot schedule or host meetings, and can be the foundation for Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center licences. The option is not available to all account types. (vendor page undated; as published on 2026-09-30)
