- Supplementary Terms A.1.1: a Device is each computing device (server, desktop, notebook, thin client, tablet, smartphone, handheld) that exists within the customer's field of activity, regardless of ownership, with an active administrative record in the Matrix42 Software. Network printers, routers, bridges, hubs, peripherals and IT objects such as SIM cards are not computing devices. A record stays active unless the customer can prove the device was stolen, scrapped, defective or left its area of disposal. (effective 2026-07-01)
