- Snagit 2024 EULA §1: a "perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited license to install and run the Software in a manner consistent with its design and this EULA for a single Authorized User". §2.1 permits a second copy on a second Device for the same Authorized User.
- Counting rules
- One Authorized User per licence; up to two Devices (one primary, one second copy) for that same user, never used simultaneously; the Windows and Mac versions may both be installed. In multi-user Orders the second copy may not increase the number of Authorized Users (§2.4). Activation enforces the limit: a single user key can be used on up to two machines for the same user.

- Sold until the move to subscription-only licensing with the 2025 versions (released 2025-02-12); perpetual upgrades were not sold after 2025-01-01.
