- Customer Agreement s.12.10: "License(s)" means the license metric (e.g., type and quantity) identified in the Proofpoint sales quote and/or in the applicable Product Terms. Customer needs a License in order to legally use a Proofpoint Product.
- Counting rules
- The metric type comes from the quote or the Product Terms, so each module can carry its own unit. Actual usage is the "License Count"; the "Base License" is the number of Licenses for which Subscription Fees were paid (s.5.5).
- Floors / minimums
- Quantities are those specified in the Purchase Order; use is limited to the maximum number of Licenses for each module and deployment type (Product Terms s.1). No public minimum.
