- UOM definition: "For all Control-M Products, except those that run exclusively in the Mainframe environment, a license is required for the maximum number of Tasks (as defined below) present in the Control-M “Active Jobs” databases in any 24-hour period, regardless of whether the Tasks execute or not." A Task "is interchangeable with job".
- Counting rules
- Peak count of Tasks in the Active Jobs databases in any 24-hour period, across all distributed and mainframe environments including development, staging, QA, pre-production, production and test. Not counted: SMART folders/tables and sub-folders; a time-zone Task held up to three days counts once; a Task run more than once a day with the same Order ID (reruns, cyclic Tasks) counts once; Tasks covered by tier or MIPS licences. Steps or scripts inside a Task do not change the count. Mainframe-only Control-M Products count only the mainframe Active Jobs database.
