- Term License Fact Sheet: "Usage is determined by counting the total number of unique machines that access an application during each 10-minute interval throughout the day. The highest number of machines accessing an application during any one 10-minute interval during the quarter is the peak usage."
- Counting rules
- Intervals are UTC; the first partial interval is not counted. Peak usage above the owned licence pool is invoiced as term licences about one week after quarter end. Applies to all SELECT and Cloud Services Subscription term licences; ELS usage is counted by calendar day; locally deployed SELECTserver uses calendar-hour intervals.
