- LaaS service description: "AVEVA Licensing as a Service is provided on an 'active user' basis." When a user launches an AVEVA product "a license for that product is allocated to the user until midnight". The user may reopen the product up to the share value limit without additional charges.
- Counting rules
- One charge per CONNECT user per product per day (or month, per credits agreement). A new licence and charge apply if the share value limit (Sessions per Seat; commonly five, E3D AVEVA201 five, PRO/II SIM500 one) is exceeded or a different Windows or CONNECT account is used. Shared features are charged at the cheapest product on the agreement.
