AVEVA

AVEVA, part of the Schneider Electric group, makes industrial software for engineering, operations and data management, including the PI System and InTouch HMI. It licenses products through order forms and its CONNECT platform, including the Flex subscription program.

  1. The Flex subscription program is a single subscription for buying, using and managing AVEVA software (SaaS, hybrid or on-premises), with consumption and costs tracked in one place through the CONNECT platform.[1]

  2. The AVEVA EULA grants a non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive licence to use an on-premises product only on the customer's premises, for the licence term in the Order Form or CONNECT; it does not extend to affiliates unless they are named on the Order Form.[2]

  3. During the term and for two years afterwards, AVEVA may audit use of the products, on-site or remotely, and the customer must provide a signed certification of compliance within 30 days of a written request.[3]

  4. AVEVA may collect usage metrics, including records of users and where they logged on to CONNECT, in part to verify the customer's compliance with the agreement.[4]

  5. AVEVA publishes separate software schedules for product families such as Engineering (including SimSci), PI System, Unified Supply Chain, Teamwork and ETAP products.[5]
