- Definition
- MSP billing: "A seat is any user in an account with the active, awaiting confirmation, or recovery status. This includes both team members and guests." "Net usage is calculated by taking the sum of each day’s usage and dividing it by the number of days in the billing period."
- Counting rules
- Usage is measured at the end of each day across each managed company, prorated, and averaged over the billing period; MSPs pay a monthly Net Seat Fee in arrears at partner pricing disclosed in writing (Partner Agreement Part C s.1.4-1.5). An MSP can set a maximum seat count per managed account, which only triggers a warning.
