Besides Zap workflows, Zapier sells or bundles several products that have their own allowances. Zapier Agents and Zapier Chatbots are add-ons with their own plans and quotas. Zapier Tables, Zapier Forms and Zapier MCP are included in the platform plans, with limits set by plan.[1][3] In September 2025, Zapier announced that “Tables, Interfaces, and Zapier MCP are now included in our Free, Pro, and Team plans”, with no separate add-ons required.[5] The pricing page now calls the interface-building product Forms, and lists Canvas and Copilot among the products every account can use.[1]

Metrics
Agents activities
Zapier defines an activity as “any billable action that your agent takes”. One activity is counted each time an agent uses a trigger, answers from a knowledge source, runs an action, browses or scrapes the web, runs a web search, or receives a message through the Chrome Extension.[2] “Using activities does not affect your Zapier task usage.”[2] On paid Agents plans testing is free, but on Free, tests count toward the quota. Each run is capped at 10 activities on Free and 40 on Pro and Enterprise, so that a single run cannot use up the month’s quota.[2] Catalog proof: Activity; Agents activities are a separate quota from tasks.
The help article notes that Zapier “is moving Agents to AI by Zapier”. AI by Zapier steps are billed in tasks rather than activities.[2][8] Organisations that use both should expect usage to move from the activity quota to the task pool after migration.
Chatbots
Chatbot plans differ by number of chatbots, conversation history (7, 14 or 30 days), knowledge sources and whether the Zapier logo can be removed. Paid plans can connect the customer’s own AI provider API key to use more models.[1]
Tables records and Forms pages
Tables are unlimited on every plan, with up to 100 fields per table. Records are counted across the account against the plan limit.[1] The Help Center notes that “Each plan has specific limits to the number of records per table”. It also says that account-wide record usage is shown in the table view, and that AI Fields are only available on paid plans.[4] Forms projects are unlimited, and pages are counted per account. Managed access for form users is capped at 100 users on Professional and 500 on Team, and file uploads are also limited by plan.[1] Catalog proof: Table record; Form page; Tables records are limited per account by plan.
Counting / floors
Agents limit (2026-10-01). When an account reaches its activity limit, its agents stop running, take no actions and receive no triggers until the next billing date or an upgrade. Chat still works. Activities used to finish a run beyond the limit are not charged.[2] Agents has no overage billing like pay-per-task. Upgrading mid-cycle raises the limit to the new plan’s level without resetting usage.[2] Catalog proof: Agents stop at the activity limit without overage.
Shared quotas. In Team and Enterprise accounts, “all the users on your account will share the total number of activities”.[2] Tables records and Forms pages are also counted per account, not per user.[1]
Task-free steps. Zap steps that read or write Zapier Tables or Zapier Forms do not use tasks.[8][9] Catalog proof: Built-in Zapier tools and Tables and Forms steps are task-free.
Free plan. The Free plan includes 2,500 table records and 10 form pages, and gives access to free versions of Zapier Chatbots and Zapier Agents.[7] Catalog proof: Free plan includes 100 tasks per month.
Virtualization & partitioning
Not applicable. All of these products are hosted by Zapier and counted per account.
Cloud / BYOL
Zapier MCP connects any client that supports the protocol over Streamable HTTP, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code, to a server created at mcp.zapier.com. Each named client needs its own server. Zapier MCP “runs on your existing Zapier plan, with no separate billing”.[6] Sharing an MCP server with teammates requires a Team or Enterprise plan. On other plans, a user can share a copy of the tool list as a tool bundle.[6] The MCP client itself, and any AI subscription behind it, is licensed separately by its own vendor. Catalog proof: MCP tool call; Zapier MCP tool calls use two tasks each.
Programs
Add-on billing (2026-04-03). On a paid Zapier plan, an add-on “will use the same billing cycle as that plan, paid monthly or annually”. On the Free plan, the add-on is aligned to the plan’s billing date and charged partially for the first cycle. Cancelling or downgrading an add-on does not affect the Zapier plan, and the account receives a pro-rated credit for future purchases.[3] Agents activities reset on the billing date each month, for monthly and annual plans alike.[2] Catalog proof: Add-ons follow the Zapier plan billing cycle.
Agents billing date and upgrades. The Agents billing date is the date the customer signed up for the Zapier account, or last upgraded the Zapier plan. A customer who signed up on January 10th has usage reset on the 10th of every month.[2] If the Agents plan is upgraded on the billing date, the activity limit resets and the full amount is charged. On any other day the charge is prorated per day, and the new plan’s limit replaces the old one without resetting usage.[2] For estimating consumption, the help article works through an example. A daily agent that checks an inbox, summarizes matching emails and then runs two actions uses four activities when it finds one email, and seven when it finds two.[2]
Usage visibility. In a Team or Enterprise account, the Activities counter shows usage for the whole account. The Data usage page shows only the activities of the viewing user’s own agents, actions and knowledge sources.[2] An administrator who wants to split Agents cost by user or team therefore has to rely on the data that each user can see. The documentation retrieved does not describe a per-member Agents export like the one available for tasks.
Enterprise restrictions. The Agents FAQ states that Zapier Agents “doesn’t currently support app and action restrictions that may be in place on an Enterprise account”.[1] Agents Enterprise adds agent sharing, enterprise audit logs and support for restricted apps.[1]
