Bluebeam subscription plans are how Bluebeam sells Revu today. There are four tiers: Basics, Core, Complete and Max. Each is priced per user and billed annually, and every plan includes Revu for Windows, Bluebeam on web and mobile, phone and e-mail support, Bluebeam University courses and “unlimited secure centralized storage”.[1] Different users in one organization can hold different plans.[1] Revu 21 and the web and mobile apps are not sold separately; every plan includes both.[2]

Plan line-up
The US pricing page (retrieved 2026-10-02) lists:[1]
| Plan | Positioning | Price (USD per user per year) | Adds over the previous tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basics | “For simple markups and document management.” | 260 | PDF creation, viewing, editing and markups; length and area measurement; participation in Studio collaborations |
| Core | “For professional-grade markups, measurements and collaboration.” | 330 | Specialty markups for 2D and 3D PDFs; perimeter, count, angle and volume measurement; overlay and compare; hosting and managing Studio collaborations; CAD plug-ins |
| Complete | “For automating and accelerating your workflows.” | 440 | Dynamic Fill; Quantity Link with Excel; advanced markup reporting; Batch Link, Batch Slip Sheet and batch signatures and seals; scripting |
| Max | “For optimal efficiency and outcomes.” | 590 (introductory) | AI integration via MCP; AI drawing reviews and comparisons; multi-view stitching; Magic Markups; Connected Studio Sessions with Revit |
The Basics plan card says plainly: “No perimeter or advanced measurements” and “No ability to host or manage Studio collaboration”.[1] A support article adds that some tools and menu items are greyed out in Basics, and “You must have a Complete or Max plan for full access to features”.[10]
Under the Addendum, use is limited to the functions of the plan purchased. The customer alone is responsible for choosing the right plan, and Bluebeam may modify or discontinue plans with notice.[4] Catalog: Features are limited to the purchased plan; plans can be mixed; Basics can join but not host Studio Sessions and Projects.
Max introductory price
Max is offered at an introductory USD 590 per user per year. Customers who buy at that price keep it “through their renewal in 2027”. After that, renewals move to a standard list price that has not yet been announced.[1] Licence managers forecasting beyond 2027 should treat the Max price as unknown. Catalog: Max introductory price is locked through the 2027 renewal.
Metrics
Every plan is counted in Authorized Users, meaning named individuals with an assigned seat.[4] Users who need only to view or collaborate can be Unpaid Collaborators and do not consume a seat.[4] Each subscriber may be signed in on up to five devices.[2] The bundled web storage is not metered: the pricing page lists “unlimited secure centralized storage” for all plans.[1]

Buying and billing
Plans are bought in the Webstore or through a reseller. Purchase orders are accepted by e-mail, and buyers of more than 50 plans are directed to the enterprise page.[1] Bluebeam’s subscription FAQ states that subscriptions are “sold with annual billing and Net 30 terms” and that “No monthly billing will be available”.[2] The General Terms set three further rules for direct purchases:[3]
- invoices are due within 30 days, and in-app purchases are paid immediately;
- new purchases and renewals are priced at Bluebeam’s then-current fees unless agreed otherwise in writing;
- promotional pricing applies once.
The US and Canada Webstore Terms of Sale add that Webstore prices are in U.S. dollars only.[9] Catalog: Invoices due in 30 days; fees non-refundable; renewal at then-current prices.
Renewal
Subscriptions run for one year and renew automatically for further one-year terms. Either party can stop the renewal with at least 30 days’ prior written notice, and e-mail counts.[3] Renewal works at the account level, by one of two methods:[5]
| Method | Where | Reminders before expiry | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Auto Charge | US and Canada | 60 and 35 days | Payment method charged on the renewal date |
| Auto Invoice | Outside the US and Canada | 60 and 30 days | Invoice sent 30 days before expiry |
| Not enrolled | Any | 60, 35 and 7 days | Manual renewal in the Webstore |
The method that applies to the account is switched on automatically with the first Webstore purchase.[5] The renewal guide sets four further rules:[5]
- An Org Admin can still renew up to 14 days after expiry.
- An unpaid account is suspended on day 7 after expiry, keeps Read-only access, and is reinstated on payment.
- Buying a new subscription instead of renewing “may result in disruption of service”.
- Reseller customers renew through their reseller.
When a plan lapses, Revu 21, Studio and the web and mobile apps switch to Read-only. No data is lost, and Studio data is kept for 120 days.[11] Catalog: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled 30 days ahead; Unpaid renewals are suspended on day 7 after expiry; Expired plans fall back to Read-only; Studio data kept 120 days.
Refunds and changes
A new subscription can be cancelled for convenience within 30 days of its start, with a refund. The right does not cover renewals or products added during an active subscription.[3] The pricing FAQ likewise offers a refund if it is requested within 30 days.[1] Apart from that window, fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable.[3] Catalog: 30-day refund window on the initial purchase only.
Virtualization & partitioning
Plans carry no server, core or virtual-machine options. Device use is bounded by the five-device sign-in limit per user. See Bluebeam ID, Org Admin and Studio.
Cloud / BYOL
Studio and the web and mobile apps are included in every plan. Hosting Studio Sessions and Projects needs Core or higher.[1]
Programs
Free trial. New users can try the Complete plan free for 14 days.[2] If a plan is bought before the trial ends, the trial keeps running alongside it until day 14.[8] Data entered during a trial may be permanently lost unless the same software is bought by the last trial day.[4] Catalog: Free trial (Complete); Trial data may be lost unless a plan is bought.
Max trial for subscribers. An Org Admin can start a 15-day Max trial with 10 seats. Users keep their existing plans during the trial and go back to them when it ends. The trial needs Revu 21.9 or later.[7] Catalog: Bluebeam Max trial for subscribers.
Academic Program. Verified students and educators receive “free, 12-month subscriptions to Bluebeam Max”.[6] Eligibility is checked through SheerID. It covers students in credit-bearing courses or competitions and instructors of credit-bearing classes. A subscription lasts one year from approval and can be renewed from 30 days before expiry while the person stays eligible.[6] Academic subscriptions “may not be used for commercial projects”, and this includes internships.[6] The Addendum adds that alumni do not qualify and limits each educational user to one Seat.[4] Catalog: Academic subscription; Academic subscriptions: non-commercial, one seat, verified status.
Resellers. Customers who buy through an authorized reseller pay the reseller’s agreed fees. Resellers cannot bind Bluebeam or modify its terms.[3] The Webstore Terms of Sale, including its 30-day return policy, do not apply to licences bought from a reseller.[9] Catalog: Resellers cannot change Bluebeam terms.
Out of scope
- Prices outside the US, local currencies and reseller or enterprise discounts.
- Training and consulting (Professional Services). These are bought separately, must be used within one year and are not licences.[3]
- Legacy prices for perpetual, Enterprise and Open licences. See Bluebeam Revu 20 end of life and legacy licences.
