- Sage 50 EULA s.2b and s.4b: a subscription gives access to the current version only while the recurring fees are paid; otherwise the software and data revert to read-only mode; if a subscriber's Sage Business Care is cancelled the software also reverts to read-only. A perpetual licence gives indefinite access to the purchased version but updates cost extra. The pricing page describes the subscription as an annual subscription with a lease to the software licence and a minimum one-year commitment.
