- Supplementary Terms A.1.1: an Asset is each computing or infrastructure device with an active administrative record in the Products; whether it runs in a virtualized environment is irrelevant. Network printers, storage, routers and switches are Assets; peripherals and SIM cards are not. The archived 2024 Device definition carried the same virtualization sentence. (effective 2026-07-01)
