- OnBase Certificate Licensing: a certificate is a tamper-proof XML file listing all licensed modules for an installation; each certificate contains the entire set of licence information, can be installed only once, and is unlocked with a response code from the Hyland License Certificate web service. Certificates are created and issued only by Hyland against purchasing documentation.
