Hyland
Hyland makes content services software for document management, process automation and digital asset management. Its products are licensed as term Product Subscriptions under the Hyland Master Agreement, measured by concurrent, workstation, named-user or volume metrics.
Licensing at a Glance
- Subscription
- Concurrent user
- Named user
- Per device
- Capacity (data, assets, nodes)
Hyland grants a revocable, non-exclusive, non-assignable limited licence during the term of the Product Subscription, solely for the customer's and its Users' internal business operations.[1]
Products are licensed for a specific type of use, such as concurrently, on a specified workstation, by a specified individual, or by volume or usage metrics.[2]
Volume-licensed products may stop functioning when volume limits are exceeded, may incur additional fees based on volume usage, and may monitor and report usage.[3]
Unless an Order Form says otherwise, a Product Subscription renews automatically for periods equal to the Initial Term unless either party gives non-renewal notice at least 30 days before the end of the term.[4]
Hyland may audit the customer's use during the agreement and for one year after, with access to systems, facilities and records on reasonable notice, and may require volume-usage reports.[5]
