Statement
Aurora Protect Desktop VM guidance: each new non-persistent VM registers with the console and creates duplicate device records; installing the agent on the gold image with VDI=1 (or AD=1) uses VDI fingerprinting so duplicates are not registered. Device lifecycle management (DLCM) removes inactive devices, but gold image templates must be excluded from it.
Applies when
Deploying Aurora Protect Desktop in VDI or non-persistent VM pools.
Applies to
Aurora Protect Desktop; Aurora Focus.
