- Tenable Security Center Licensing: "Tenable Security Center licenses are valid for specific hosts and a maximum number of active assets identified by IP address or UUID." Assets are "hosts assessed for vulnerabilities or imported from other Tenable products."
- Counting rules
- In agent or IPv4 repositories each IP address or UUID counts once even if scanned by several methods or stored in several repositories; in universal repositories each asset with a UUID counts, so an asset without a UUID in an IPv4 repository and with a UUID in a universal repository counts twice. Counted: active scans, Tenable Network Monitor not in discovery mode, OT Exposure UUIDs, offline/remote repositories downloaded with the same instance or licence. Not counted: discovery-mode Network Monitor, imports only to offline/remote repositories, repositories from a different licence, listed excluded plugins. IP addresses found by an alternative port scanner count.
