- Cloud Services Guide s.2.2: "“Device” means any client hardware, such as a mobile device, that enables installing and running of Workspace ONE on that client hardware." Product Guide s.2.2 defines a UEM Device as mobile phones, tablets, computing devices, rugged and similar devices monitored and managed by the UEM Software, whether owned by the customer or its Users.

- Compliance is measured in Enrolled Devices: devices with Workspace ONE installed, enrolled in the UEM console and managed by Workspace ONE. Per-Device licences may be moved from device to device within the purchased total. Per-Device licences cannot be used to reach the Intelligent Hub web portal from unmanaged devices.
